Sarah Desmond

Hey! My name is Sarah and I am a second year student at St. Thomas University. I plan to double major in Journalism and Psychology with a minor in Human Rights. I’ve been drawn to writing for as long as I can remember so the idea of getting paid to write about things that matter is so exciting. Not to mention the thrill of traveling and getting to witness the news first-hand. I love telling stories and I hope I get to do it for the rest of my life. I’m going for a more investigative Barbara Walters, if you will.

I’m from Saint John but currently reside in Fredericton with my friends. I like to watch movies, play guitar and go to The Cellar. All my favourite books, podcasts and media centre around true crime. I love Seth Rogen and anything he stars in. I can’t cook but I make a mean grilled cheese. I’m looking forward to practicing Journalism this upcoming semester.
