Cesar Camacho

Don Dickson

Hey! My name is Cesar Camacho, and I am an international student from Ecuador going through my second year at St. Thomas University. I plan on doing a double major in journalism and political science and a minor in philosophy. As long as I can remember journalism has been my number-one major; this stems from my passion for sports which opened my eyes to the possibility of a career dealing in sports broadcasting. Throughout my life sports have been my most consistent hobby. I started practicing baseball as a kid which led me to represent my country, then I focused on soccer where I also had the opportunity to participate in international tournaments.

Don Dickson

Don has been teaching journalism at STU since the program started in 2001, first while still working at the CBC. He took on more classes after he retired in 2006. Earlier he worked abroad with an international TV news agency and with TV stations in Baltimore and Seattle.
