Brighten Your Day With Hanson Road Flowers
Looking for a way to brighten your day? Look no further! Beautiful flower bouquets are available all year round at Hanson Road Flower Company.
Nestled on King Street in the heart of downtown Fredericton, is Hanson Road Flower Co. The female-owned shop is a floral design studio that offers seasonal hand-tied bouquets.
Currently, bouquets are inspired by a weekly colour palette. The palettes could be based on the time of year or which flowers are available at the time. Along with fresh flower bouquets, the shop offers dried flower bouquets and arrangements.
If you have any vases at home that you really like, you can bring them into the shop and the staff will put together a fresh or dried bouquet for you.
Jessie Gagne is Hanson Road’s Plant Care and Customer Experience Specialist. He says applying to work at the shop was one of his best decisions.
“I was really drawn to both the staff and everything that Hanson Road aligns with,” he said. “The plants, the flowers, and the community aspect all kind of pointed me in the right direction to apply and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.”
You can get more than just flowers at Hanson Road. They also offer a wide variety of locally designed bath, body, and lifestyle products. This includes soap, candles, and jewellery. They also have hand-painted cards for any occasion, and currently have Christmas tree ornaments.
If flowers aren’t your thing, and you’re more of a plant parent, they have a variety of plants for sale as well.
Along with selling beautiful flowers, Hanson Road is also a community space. Their store attracts everyone.
Tucked up at the front of the shop is the pod. It is equipped with a comfy pink couch, a mini fridge stocked with local drinks, and of course, flowers, so customers can come in and relax or snap a cute photo for their Instagram.
Hanson road was previously located on Brunswick Street but has since moved to a new location on King Street.
“We’re a little more front and centre now,” said Gagne. “We see a lot more walk-in customers.”
Planting their “roots” in a new location has allowed the business to “bloom.”
“Moving to this location was definitely a great step for us and helping us kind of achieve and meet more people in Fredericton,” said Gagne.
Hanson Road claims it is a one-stop shop for self-care items that everyone deserves, and they only plan on “growing up.” The lead manager, Chee Riemenschneider, is excited to see the shop continue to evolve in the new year.
“We do have a couple projects under our belts right now that we are still working on,” she said. “We just definitely still want to invite more people in, and we have some nice little community projects coming up.”
Stopping in to Hanson Road is the perfect way to brighten your day during the cold Fredericton Winter.
