It’s More Than Craft Beer

Many arrived unaware of the event, yet were pleasantly surprised.

“I love coming to Picaroons. Usually, I’m just here to get a beer or two with my friends, or a cider even. But tonight there’s an event going on and I didn’t even know. It’s really cute, there’s a lot of little cool things you can buy. It’s always a great spot to be when there’s an event going on,” said Reese Tucker.

The vendors had a mix of thrifted clothing, household decor, plants, and natural products.

The ideal place for vintage enthusiasts.

Interiorview, a local interiorscaping business owned by Jessica Fleet and Chelsea Heppell, took part in this event. After a successful start-up last summer at the Garrison Night Market, they felt this event was very fitting. Interiorview uses their plants to give life to spaces that otherwise wouldn’t have any, such as homes and offices.

“This event felt like the ideal location for us as it is such a positive space to promote our business and share what we are passionate about, and of course take a peek around ourselves,” said Fleet.

Fleet and Heppell both look forward to taking part in future night markets to come.

This lit-up, friendly environment welcomed the public to browse, play cards with friends, and enjoy a drink and snack. This event took place for two evenings and sparked an interest in the public to attend their upcoming gatherings; such as their ‘Art & Craft (brew!)’ event coming up this month.

There were smiles from all—even from dogs!
