My name is Alexandre Silberman, and I’m a student at St. Thomas University majoring in Digital Journalism and New Media.

I’m from Burlington, Vermont, a small city about 40 minutes south of the Canadian border, where I spent time working for the Burlington Free Press, the region’s largest daily newspaper, and VTDigger.org, a statewide, non-profit news and politics website.

I care about government, politics, community, and accountability, and seek out stories that pursue those interests.

Outside of the newsroom, I like hiking, skiing, reading and enjoying the great outdoors.
