Maurice Bosse
Hi everyone! My name is Maurice Bosse and I am in my fourth year as an adult learner here at St. Thomas University. I am currently majoring in communications & public policy, and I will be minoring in French and Sociology. I was born and raised in Edmundston, New Brunswick and I speak both official languages which are English and French.
For my educational background, I went to Saint Mary’s Academy and graduated in 2009. After high school, I took the opportunity to enroll at New Brunswick Community College in Moncton, where I spent the next 4 to 5 years working as an automotive service technician. After receiving my red seal certification, I moved to Ottawa, Ontario and spent a few years working. Working in the automotive industry is not an easy life and I came to the realization that this was not my future. In 2018, I decided to enroll at St. Thomas University because I wanted to start over and embark on a new path. On September 2019, I started my first year at St. Thomas and as you read this biography, I will be graduating in May 2023.
Throughout my time at St. Thomas, I have worked hard to get myself into either the provincial or federal government. As of right now, I am currently interning with the federal government under Public Safety Canada where I work in the Border Policy Division. My Job title is called “Junior Policy Analyst”.
During my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, especially in the summertime. I do a lot of camping, kayaking, and fishing. When I am not busy exploring nature, I would spend time with my friends and hang out at a brewery relaxing and enjoying a nice cold beer.
