Gaëtane Pont

Hi! My name is Gaëtane Pont, I am 19. I am an exchange student from France. I live on the west coast of France, my university there is called ‘ICES’, an institution of higher study situated in La Roche sur Yon near Nantes (a bigger city). I’m a new student here at St Thomas University as a first year student but in France I’m in my second year. I have three courses of journalism, one Spanish class and one English literature class at STU. On one hand, I am in Canada to improve my English and I never thought that I would be freezing each time I go out here. On the other hand, by coming here I have now the opportunity to take journalism courses which I’m interested in. I want to be a better writer and learn more about journalism in general. Maybe in the future I’ll be a journalist. Who knows?
