STU’s Orange Shirt Day
STU celebrated it’s Orange Shirt Day by hosting an informational booth in JDH.
Students around the booth.
The booth presented information regarding the history of Canada’s colonization.
It also had handouts to provide further information on current indigenous issues.
A reflection activity was apart of the booth.
Participates reflected and wrote down something they learned.
The note would then go into the orange shirts.
Participates would then plant the shirts outside.
These moccasins were hung above the orange shirts.
