Calum MacDonald

Hi there! My name is Calum MacDonald, and I was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. As a proud north-sider, I attended Leo-Hayes High School, and now I have to travel across a whole river to get to my new school of St. Thomas University. At STU I am majoring in Journalism, with an undecided minor.

Outside of school, I am passionate about volunteering. I am a volunteer English tutor with Frontier College, and I also love to volunteer at York Care Centre on weekends.

Besides volunteering, I am a fan of movies and love to make poorly made short films with my friends. I am a member of the NB Film Coop, and I have participated in a local 48-hour film competition for the past 4 years. Ultimately, I hope to one day pursue a career in documentary filmmaking.
