David Armstrong

Hello, my name is David Armstrong. I am from Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and I came across the country to play soccer for the Tommies and pursue a degree in Journalism. Soccer has always been a passion of mine, but my interests go beyond the pitch. I have always been an active volunteer in my community with the Rotary club and at various events. I was also an active member of my debate team and the Toastmasters club for public speaking. I am happy to be at St. Thomas University because this community is also passionate about liberal arts and success beyond the classroom.

I hope to gain positive relationships with all my classmates and collaborate on projects throughout my university experience. When I have my degree, I would like to pursue a career in sports broadcasting.
