Soccer during the COVID 19 pandemic
Fredericton District Soccer Association hosted a soccer jamboree this past weekend at Fredericton High School.
Members of the STU soccer teams laced up to help coach at the jamboree.
Holy moly what a goalie! The girls were able to have a shot in net to try a new position.
If the ball comes in contact with a hand or arm it must be swapped out and sprayed down.
Taylor Clark and Jazmyne Mclaughlin give the girls some tips after the games are finished for the day.
Ravtej Singh, a player on the STU mens soccer team, helps clean up after the jamboree, making sure all equipment makes its way over to get cleaned.
Once the jamboree was over, all equipment had to be wiped down or washed.
Socially distanced thumbs up for soccer! Members of the STU women’s soccer team were happy to volunteer and coach young players in a sport that they love!
