Exam Season Burnout at UNB

At the University of New Brunswick, exam season is on, and students are feeling the heat. Many have complained that this part of the semester is stressful because of the amount of studying needed for them to do well in their exams. Noah Tremblay, a kinesiology major says that he needs to study six hours a day for his exams, and even that does not guarantee he does well in his exams. Tremblay complains that the amount of effort required to do well in all five of his exams is ridiculous and a lot of his peers suffer from burnout and anxiety at this time in the semester.

A lot of students are left studying on campus until late in the night and not able to have a lot of time for social activities, which is not easy when Christmas is just around the corner. UNB students are not happy that some of their final exams do not end until the 19th of December, which is less than one week away from Christmas.

Some students would like to see some changes to the exam schedule so that it can be less hectic and end earlier so that they can go home less than one week before the festive season begins.
