Ambition and Discipline

This is Gian Carlo Tamayo, also known as G.C. He is a first year student at St. Thomas University.

He is originally from Peru, but now he lives in Ecuador.

He is happy because he is focused on his studies and personal goals. He wants to be a professional MMA fighter.

He trains every single day at O’Keefe’s Gym and also has time to go to Southwood to Synergy Academy. He states that discipline is the key to his success.

Gian Carlo proudly showed me a picture of his two year old son, Fascio. He had him when he was 17 years old.

Instead of being ashamed, he takes it as a motivation. He said he took the love he has for Fascio to inspire himself and to pursue his dreams.

His majors are Psychology and Economics. He also intends minoring in Business.

“ I hope that when I graduate and I can bring Fascio here to Canada. I want to enjoy him”
