Archives Friendsgiving Brings Campers Together one Last Time for the Season September 29, 2019September 29, 2019 Jessica Saulnier Woolastook Campground friends decided to have a Friendsgiving to celebrate the last weekend camping with great people. Every resident in the group who participated agreed to cook two to three items for the Thanksgiving feast. One camper, Jeff Calhoun was in charge of cooking one of the two turkeys. The other turkey was deep-fried by Allen Dillon. Jennifer Calhoun and Kelly Faubert are two of the permanent summer residents at Woolastook Campground. Sandi LeBlanc cooked a honey glazed ham in her new roaster that she bought for the weekend. Almost all of the campers at Woolastook Park have their own golf carts to drive around in. Campers Jeff Calhoun and Lisa Mckillop-Cory setting up the feast. The food is served – many dishes from all the campers. Two different styles of stuffing, because you can never go wrong. Friendly campground dog, Honey waits in line with the rest of the campers. Allen Dillon set up a tarp to keep everyone dry under the rain, as well as his projector to play music for the crowd. To finish off a great night, dessert was served hot off the barbecue. Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)
