Lauren Whitters

After studying a semester of public relations at Mount Saint Vincent University in Bedford, Nova Scotia, I decided to return to my hometown and pursue a degree in journalism. I am excited to be back in Fredericton, continuing my education and learning things I am really interested in. I am passionate about sports, film and writing. Throughout high school I was a competitive rower and played on my school’s rugby team as well, through these sports I learned a lot about hard work, discipline and teamwork. As an employee at Cineplex I’ve developed an interest in viewing and critiquing all the films that come through our theatre. I am nowhere near a professional movie critic but it’s fun forming my own opinions on the popular movies we screen. I am eager to improve my writing and editing here at STU!
