Welsford Falls, located in the woods of Petersville, New Brunswick is a beautiful view that many have hiked over the years come to see.
The falls can be found approximately 15 minutes outside of Grand bay-Westfield, directly off Eagle Rock Road.
During the hike towards the falls, many abandoned shacks can be found.
The top of the Welsford falls, which many call the “eagle nest”, is where the waterfalls start.
Getting to the bottom is as hard as getting back up. Hikers must descend down a rocky slanted area while holding on to a rope for support.
The beauty of the area and peace of the scenery is what brings the travelers in. Even though the rough terrain is a struggle to some, it makes the experience one to remember.
